“I know that several roads condition are prone to damage after being inundated,” said Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Wednesday (3/2).

Djarot also asked Jakarta Dept. of Transportation to supervise overweight vehicles. Overweight vehicles also one of damaged road causes.

“Transjakarta lane should use concrete layer rather than asphalt. But it must be done correctly,” he added.

According to him, road in capital should survive up to ten years after being repaired. In order to support this program, Djarot asked related regional working units to change the way of thinking from project oriented to best result oriented.
